In my village, there is a crooked tree, where people said 'inhabited'. The tree located in the middle of the field. When I was a kid, Me and my friends were used to play there. From afternoon to evening. We never been permitted to play at night. Due to the people's myth about the crooked tree.
At first, I don't believe that. But, my friend's experience forced me to believe it. He is stubborn and naughty. He used to be scolded by his parents. After the evening prayer, he asked me to going home through the field. People in my village are never going through the field when it gets dark. They'd rather crossed the bridge even it took a long way home. He insisted me, but I refused him. So he ran towards the path which lead him to the field. I feel uneasy about it.
I've been arrived at home late, because I choose the path that takes me to the bridge. Shortly, after the dinner someone's knocking the door. My Dad open it. It was my friend's Mom. She was worried for her son because he wasn't home yet. To be honest, I don't want to make her sad. But I have to tell the truth. When she knows it, she lost her consciousness. My Mom treated her, while I've been scolded by my Dad, because I can't prevent my friend. I have tried my best, but it's useless.
Then, me and my Dad are looking for him. I'm hoping that he's fine. We just brought a flashlight as lighting. And here we are, the field. The place is still dark, there are no lightings around here. My Dad directly heading to the crooked tree. He spotted the whole tree. We found a small leg over the tree.....
And my friend was there, sleeping on the branch. We tried to woke him, but it's no use. My Dad climbed up the tree, and carried him down. After another try to wake him, it works. He hugs my Dad and crying. I don't know what caused it. We took him to my house to met him with his Mom. Later when everything's fine, he tells the truth....
He met this beautiful girl once, she took him underneath the tree, gave him some foods and shifted her shape. She was...
